Time the Destroyer Is Time the Preserver, Sharjah Art Foundation
Located in Sharjah’s historic arts district, the Sharjah Art Foundation is a key institution for contemporary art, presenting exhibitions, performances and public programmes across the emirate. This large-scale exhibition presents over 170 works by Chilean artist Jorge Tacla. Drawing on themes of memory and political upheaval, the show reflects on how time shapes both personal and collective experience. Tacla’s works examine destruction and survival, using layered imagery to explore how history leaves lasting marks.
