Joe Fig is an Artist in Residence at Five Points Arts for the month of September. Five Points Arts Center occupies a 30,000-square-foot building on 90 acres in Torrington, Connecticut. It houses fully equipped art labs in: ceramics, printmaking, wood working, weaving, photography and dark rooms, drawing and painting.
Beyond the labs, the building includes an auditorium, an industrial kitchen and dining lounge, an art library, plus a courtyard and surrounding grounds used for outdoor sculpture installations. The Arts Center runs year-round classes and community programs alongside the residencies and open-studio access.
