“New spaces, new realities” is the slogan of the 2023 edition of ARTBO Fair, which presents at Ágora Bogotá—Convention Center, in a boutique model and vertical format, the proposals of cutting-edge galleries from Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Spain, France and the United States.
Referentes, a space dedicated to historical works that have changed paradigms, presents the curated work of Julieta González (curator and researcher, Venezuela) titled Third nature, which shifts away from the historical vision to propose one where the telluric and the vegetal work as parameters to delve into the ecosystems shared and intervened by multiple species through works that question from their practices the notions of geography, botany, anthropology and history. For its part, Sitio, a section that seeks to promote the collecting of large-scale works, will take over the architecture of Agora with eight projects by artists François Bucher, Mapa Teatro, Nadín Ospina, Ernestro Restrepo, Daniel Nyström, Jaime Miranda-Bambarén, Los Carpinteros and Edelmira Boller.
